While at my desk doing book work, I heard a woman crying in the connecting office.

This health care professional,  I learned, was crying tears of joy over learning that we had the health equipment she needed to get her recovering father out of bed. “I have looked everywhere for the last week. It was just nowhere! I cannot thank you enough,” she said sobbing.

This family is not alone. Families are struggling as health equipment from walkers to wheelchairs are in short supply. Caregivers are too often pushed to their limits as they seek what they need to help their loved ones.
